Do you offer custom AR builds?

Yes, Black Diamond Armory offers custom AR builds. We provide custom built-to-order AR builds tailored to your specifications. We have at least an option for all the different parts of an AR in store with the ability to order just about anything.

What if I want a gun that isn't in stock?

No worries! We can order in just about any firearm that is in production currently. Subject to availability.

Do you price match?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We will price match any brick and mortar store if possible. If not, we will get as close as we can.
We will not entertain price matching from online only drop shipping websites, PSA, or Buds. They often sell at or a couple bucks above cost and its killing small gun shops like us.

Can I transfer a gun to your store? What are the fees?

Do you offer Cerakote services?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do! We can Cerakote most metal and polymer items, especially everything on an AR15. Pricing is determined by amount of different colors, area coverage, and patterns vs solid color. Please note lead times are usually 3-7 weeks.

Do you offer a Permit To Carry Class?

Yes we do. Black Diamond Armory is proud to offer a convenient online Permit to Carry class that can be done in the comfort of your own home at any time. Do you offer a monthly subscription gun parts box?

Yes we do! Black Diamond Armory does offer a monthly subscription or a one time mystery box full of AR parts, EDC gear, and fun swag, called the Armory Crate, to be shipped right to your door. What happens if my background check is denied?

A denied check incurs a $25 restocking fee, no exceptions. This covers our time and effort to run a background check and are now forced to keep track of that denied background check entry for 20 years......... Please don't bother buying from us if you think you will be denied. Don't waste our time.

Question 10

What if my NFA Form 4 is denied?

Accepted Answer

A 25% restocking fee of the merchandise PLUS the $80 fingerprinting service applies. Refunds are issued as store credit only. The $200 tax stamp is refunded by check. No exceptions. If you think you will be denied DON'T TRY TO BUY AN NFA ITEM. This is a huge waste of time and effort.

Can I return or exchange a firearm?

Accepted Answer

No. All firearm sales are final. If a firearm is defective, please use the manufacturer’s warranty for repair or replacement. The only alternative is that we buy back the firearm at fair used market value.

Can I return other items?

Accepted Answer

Most non-serialized items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days with a receipt. A 15% restocking fee applies.

What items are non-returnable?

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:
 • Ammunition
 • Reloading supplies
 • Paper targets & clay pigeons
 • Cleaning liquids & aerosols
 • Single-use earplugs
 • Food products

How long do special orders take?

Typically within 3 weeks, we only order items in bulk to save on shipping. So, we will order your special order when we have enough things to order to actual place a special order. To avoid waiting, you have the option to pay the $15 shipping charge for us to order immediately.

Do you offer layaway?

Yes. Minimum down payment is 50% or $300 (whichever is greater). Balance must be paid within 2 months.

What happens if I don’t pay it off in time?

Payments are non-refundable, and the item goes back into inventory. Customers are responsible for keeping track of payments—reminders are not provided.

Do you accept trades?

Yes, we consider all trades, though we are not obligated to accept. Trades cannot be made on consignment items.

How do you determine trade value?

We research each item and make a fair market offer based on current market value.

Can I consign items?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will consign any firearm that we deem feasible to sell. Our standard fee is 18% of the final sale price, minus any and all fees associated with 3rd party listing websites.

How long is the consignment period?

The standard term is 60 days.
 • Early withdrawal: 12% fee
 • After 60 days: take item back for $10 processing fee

Will you promote my consigned item?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every consignment item gets at least one social media post. With your permission, we may also list on third-party sites like GunBroker (you cover any additional fees).

Can you store my firearm?

Accepted Answer

No, please ensure all firearms are picked up promptly. A $40 per month per firearm fee will be applied to any firearm left in our storage for any reason

What if storage exceeds 4 months?

Accepted Answer

A fee of $80 per month, per item applies to all months after 4 (payable at pickup).

What happens if I leave a firearm longer than 8 months?

Accepted Answer

The firearm is considered abandoned. Black Diamond Armory assumes ownership and may resell it, tear it down for parts, or use it as target practice. To reacquire it, you must pay all storage fees that have accrued thus far.
